Collecting has a major documentation problem. Most people keep their items stored in camera rolls, random social media pages or buried in spreadsheets, meaning the story, history, and real value of an item gets lost as it changes hands.

  • Lost History: When an item is sold, past purchase dates, previous owners, and condition records usually vanish.

  • No Real Stage: High-value pieces stay stuck in private photo albums instead of being organized and displayed where other collectors can see them.

  • Unverified Claims: Buying secondary market items often means taking the seller's word without any real paper trail or transaction history.

Solutions

We built Cache #ID (CC#ID) a unique number ID automatically created for every Item uploaded to cachecase. It attaches a permanent digital record to your physical item so you can track its specs, log past sales, and prove ownership as it moves from one collector to the next.

01. Create & Log

  • The Process: Add an Item to your collection manually. The system allows in the core details for title, name, year, grade, photos, and specs.

  • Why it Matters: Gives your physical item a clean digital record from day one so all specs and original photos are locked in.

02. Cache #ID (The Permanent Stamp)

  • The Process: Once an Item is saved, the Item recieves a unique Number ID code . This permanently tags who originally logged or sold the item and stamps the date it entered the system.

  • Why it Matters: The original shop or collector always gets credit for adding the item to the registry, no matter how many times it gets traded down the road.

03. Transfer & Preserve (Changing Owners)

  • The Process: When you trade or sell an Item through cachecase, you send the digital record directly to the new owner’s account.

  • Why it Matters: Creates a clear "Carfax-style" history log for the Item. Future buyers can see past ownership dates and transaction records, making trades safer and more transparent.
